I know it’s been awhile and I’ve said I’d start doing this before but… I really think I will this time.

Why? Well for starters I think I finally have some ideas to write about that aren’t just rants and thanks to the new promotion, I have a laptop to use. This makes hanging out with the family while blogging a bit easier. In fact I’ve found that it’s nice to get up early in the morning and read a few blogs while the rest of the house is emerging from their cocoons.

My intention right now is to write about some of the cool stuff that I find online and to share thoughts of how we can use some of this to better our jobs and lives.

Recently I redeployed our KrazyKakeBakers.com website with a WordPress install behind the scenes. It makes it easy to add cakes as well as share our stories about them. I spent a weekend playing with themes, finding the right plugins and uploading all of the pictures. In the near future, I’ll write about them here.

I have never considered myself a writer of any type. I was never especially good at grammar and nor have I ever been good at spelling. But, I do feel that I might have something to contribute to the blogosphere.

This blog will be all over the place just like my interests. Art, music, design, computers and technology of all sorts. Sometimes I might just be listing some links that I found. I hope all enjoy and some find interesting and useful.
